I had interviewed with the LW Regional Manager for a sles positon and was not impressed. I can't remember her name but if this is an indication of their management team it is very unimpressive. Anyone have any input on LW in AZ?

Already have an offer from a Fortune 500 girlfriend. Apparently everything I hear about CN and LW is true. So glad I am staying in REAL Medical Device sales and not some shadey IDTF position where the DOJ is up your backside! Enjoy your slow spiral down the sales drain!

I worked for a fortune 100 company for 15 years and I can tell you I make more money and do more good for patients in this IDTF business than I ever did in pharma. It's not about what you sell as much as it is who you are. Go chase your F500 dream, your butt will be out on the street within 5 years and you will be begging for a small company to give you a chance

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. Very unethical business practices and a medicore diagnotic monitoring device. I am sure I will hear from all the kool aid drinking reps that have their head in the sand and no regard for true best practices.

Funny that MD would brag that he was VP of sales at cardionet, and launched them to going public. There was not even a salesforce at the time, and they went public 5 years after he left. What an idiot..

this game is over. for us, for cardionet, for this antiquated cardiac monitoring. why would a doc prescribe this when it's easier and less costly for the patient to receive electrodes which work with their current smart phone? hmmmm. that's before we discuss ILR's. Or the fact that EP's prefer the holter like report of a patch device post ablation for AF. What are we offering that they aren't receiving elsewhere more accurately, more easily AND with a potential reimbursement for them? hmmmm.

You are insane - these new players are not going to last and not every patient has a smart phone - the new products will not cost patients less money because it's still the same code - just sell your products and stop whining

spoken like a manager who has 6 months under her belt and comes from pharma.... clueless.

Not even close - I am someone who kicks your ass day in and day out - the MDT patch is joke and it's too bad if your leadership isn't supplying you with the ammo needed to bury it.

A bit touchy don't you think. Don't think you're kicking my ass day in and day out. Easy to say when you truly don't know what you're talking about. Time will tell whether my view of what's going on is more accurate than yours, but you are very naïve. Or just plain stupid. I'm leaning towards stupid.

If the new AZ manager has crazy eyes, it's just because he is managing half the country singlehandedly and trying to keep his own territory above water. I would have crazy eyes too.

As for "lies" - everyone in this company lives a lie. We have to in order to sell Elite or ACT Ex. It's like a talented magician - slight of hand.

All so pessimistic about LW and industry.
Growth rates in 2014 seem not too bad and 2015 should be ok with no reimbursement cuts.
Clearly need the facelift ACT. VSP has optionality..

VSP in trials now with Salvo but this device has no chance for success. Furthermore, VP said we will hire a separate sales force to market and regular cardiac reps won't touch it. Vital Connect would be good but I have heard that we haven't submitted for FDA approval yet and there is no guarantee that it will even pass. By the time we actually get the patch, we will have been upstaged by nearly every single competitor. This ship has sailed... Time for me to get out.

Why would we partner with Vital Connect if the product hasn't even been approved or even submitted to the FDA? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard

I have interviews next week with ENT device comp and other medical device comp. in addition to the Swiss investigation, now CMS is doing audits again. The patch won't be in our bag until end of next year.
VSP is still an embrio, and also has competitors already. New year new job!

Why don't you ASK someone if Vital Connect has been approved by FDA to be used with ACT? Yes or no. Why don't you ask someone at the next "town hall meeting" if the application has even been filed yet? Yes or no. Then ASK how long they anticipate the FDA approval process to take. So funny that they have all of us believing that we will have VC in Q1 or Q2 or Q3. "Come on LifeWatch - just stick around a LITTLE WHILE LONGER while we sell this beast. The patch is coming, really, it is. Just hurry up and wait!"
