Life at Novartis.. good or bad?

I saw a posting for a position in my neck of the woods. I currently work for another big name in AH... my current company has its moments. Just curious what life is like at Novartis? Do you feel the constant pressure and deal with the crappy marketing like my company does? Do you guys pay significantly better? I do okay. Just want to keep my options open. Any feedback is appreciated, even the typical cafepharma type of responses.. there is a grain of truth in most of them.

Thanks!

A real response. Thank you so much! Not to push my luck, but do you have an idea of starting base? I only saw one entry on glassdoor. I really am trying to do my homework, I don't want to be known as a "company hopper"

200k base. Uncapped commission company car and plane and free "ladies of the nights". Best company ever.

Depends on experience, level you're hired at, etc. I would estimate average starting base probably $50-75k, incentive package averages $20k, also have the car/fuel, phone, laptop. No real increase for cost of living if you're hired into a big city, unfortunately.

Similar to my current gig. Thanks for the reply. Hows the pressure and overall morale? I.e. requirements? How closely are you watched? (Gps etc). Are paperwork and compliance real hindrances?

Thanks again for the info. Big decision to make this kind of move and its obviously a small enough industry that you should do your due diligence.
