Life after BL

Someone posted a few weeks ago that there is Life After BL. I start my new job in 2 weeks and since leaving BL 2 weeks ago, I'm stress free, happy and feel so much better and people are even commenting that I even look better also! I've joined the others who left before me that have not looked back or never regretted leaving. I realize now that BL was ONLY a job, not my life! To those about to get laid off... there IS greener and MUCH happier pastures elsewhere. BL is definately NOT the pinnacle of your career or above all, your life. You can NEVER put a pricetag on happiness! You don't realize how bad this place drags you down until you are no longer there!

I get what you're saying, however please don't compare Bostdick with those giants in their industries. Bostdick is a mere speck in this industry. He tried to be a bigshot but got gobbled-up by those who know how to run a business. As someone in "the know", the company was failing since day one. That's why the consistant closings every other year! As you are all well aware by now, FL is soon to be the only facility open.

You are 100% correct........it is ashame that something that could have been so great is such an embarrssing failure. NO ONE in the FL market respects him.....wrong location to keep open
 










































I'm so glad I got out when I did. A great and wonderful opportunity is in front of me. I wish all my ex coworkers the same good fortune as me! Looking back, BL was one big pain in the ass!

Thanks for the well wishes and hopefully you now work at a place where you're appreciated and respected. God knows that would never happen at BL.
 






I just started working for Bostwick a couple of months ago. Wow, I must say that Ive never seen such craziness!

I really like working in the lab industry. My question to you guys is: in your opinion, are recruiters aware of how crazy this company is?

Ive just been thinking through what recruiters may think of me and ask me about why I am considering leaving after only a few months.

I wish I had known this before I started. Fyi, I just got hipped on to Cafe Pharma.

Any advice appreciated.

recruiters don't give a damn why you leave a company. FYI...unless you're in Florida you don't have to worry about leaving, you'll be leaving soon enough.

Advice is....if you work for BL, don't make any major purchases. Your just filling in to pump the work out till closing time!! The other poster was right, recruiters couldn't care less why yo leave a company. and yes....everyone's aware of how crazy this company is. This company is a step backwards not a step forward.
