Lied AGAIN! Reduced award AGAIN!

In 2024 (the year from HELL), Pfizer integrated SeaGen and in October allowed ZS associates to needlessly disrupt so many territories / lives. Reps were told stay focused, stay the course, sell more. Leadership brought back area of the year award to incentivize everyone. In years past, this was a trip for the district members to take together with their significant others. Due to all the chaos of 2024, it will not be a trip together, but money. Ok, we are sales people, we like $$$$.

Fast forward to March 2025 at the awards ceremony……they announce Premier and area of the year winners. A week after we return to the field, we get told that our award will be half of what was said all of 2024. WHAT? WHY? WHO does that? PFIZER - how cheap and unethical of YOU!
 












Be thankful you got anything! Do you realize that most of America would be elated to have a job that pays like this for 3-4 hours a work a day? Honestly. The entitlement is astounding

You are the reason Oncology sales at Pfun Pfizer is a dumpster fire. This job is not so easy when you’re on the Target List for making sales. Yup. This company Does Not Care what stress they cause regardless of LIES. I am out of this shothole.

No, you aren’t. You’ll shut up and take it because if you had transferable skills you wouldn’t be here. At least I can admit it. I’m here so I can pick my two kids up every day after making a few calls. Will I ever be rich? No. But bringing home 200k for those hours is hard to beat.

Hell I only pay for dinner 2 times a week because most days I just order extra for catering and take that home!

I’m not naive and know it’ll come to end some day, but it’s all good I accept that

If you call Hell drawing a fat salary, collecting great benefits, and dropping off samples four times a day while asking docs or NPs "How's that Eliquis workin for ya, doc?" or "I hope that you're not writing any Attruby!", then you are in for some pain. Suck it up, and figure out a way to supplement your income.

Not everyone has your work etiquette OR attitude!

It’s disappointing that Pfizer took and changed the parameters after everyone did their job and made them $$$$.

Agreed! It’s actually refreshing to see someone acknowledge reality. Say what you want but this is a sweet gig if you’re someone who just wants to coast an upper middle class life in a MCOL city. The ones who do it right are the ones that either have a side hustle or a partner that is an entrepreneur. This path lets you milk bug blue for likely 500k call in when you consider everything (salary, bonus, insurance coverage for the entire family, 401k, LTI, vehicle, other misc benefits).

I’m shocked it’s lasted this long but on the other hand if you got rid of reps the whole house of cards would fall. Who needs 10 layers of management if you cull reps, DMs, etc
