It will be a good riddance to some who have destroyed the careers of others who just went out and did their job every day. This happens in bioonc, rheum, retina.....
A massive shakeup is the only way to purge of deadwood, incompetence in leadership and those along for the ride who would rather celebrate at NSM, party at club dna and push out those they feel threatened by by going to Management and making up bogus charges against them.
Mr Bill has a major mess in his lap that after two years at the helm, is all on him.

Prospective hiring companies are building a firewall to turn away Genentech employees- they are no longer the desired ones outside the company.
