This has been covered in a few other threads. Take a look around. The last theory I heard was that it became imposible for him to do his job what with MG and gang's little shenanigans and Mitch's habit of overriding anyone and everyone whether it be advisable or not or legal or not finally got to him and he left.

my theory is so the scores of employees who knew of illegal acts had no chief compliance officer to go to. gold is a criminal in every way right under the noses of law enforcement.
 


















He was forced out by Rosen via Mitch. Rosen had told Mitch in order for him to possibly sell $200 mil, end should justify means and Rosen should be able to make every deal with anyone. And to get rid of anyone who he saw as an obstacle. BW was one of them.So he is gone.

yep and deep into an investigation they hire a chief compliance officer. they didnt want employees to have anyone to go to. bw's last day was september 30. why did they wait so long? because a federal investigation is going on. its the gold fraud circus.
