Let's Take a Vote....

Who thinks that the acquisition of GG (which is now some unknown lab) to Lab Corp was a good idea???

Just ask all my clients that have Aetna patients....

What does "Inegrated Oncology" Stand for?

Are we giving up on Pathology?!!

My DM has told me to just focus on price and cost...He has me going into accounts and offering them 50% discounts to get the business.

Yeeesh!

We get laughed at every day. GG hates USL and visa versa. Both are down the tubes, next year another name change and labcorp all over marketing material. So satisfying.

The financials made sense for the acquisition. The higher ups get their bonuses. Wall Street investors are happy. LCA is a company that thrives on acquiring other successful companies, squeezes the profits out of them and brings them to the brink of disaster. They have a ton of positive cash flow and don't have to take on debt as they pay for these deals in CASH. (actually our government should learn to run as lean and mean as LCA; as they are a well oiled machine) LCA doesn't believe in re-investing and growing business organically. Just ask the folks at Monogram Biosciences. They don't understand that pathology IS NOT A COMMODITY like a cbc test. Yet they've made it into one. In less than 2 years time I predict that LCA will purchase another successful pathology business. There is no doubt.
