I’ve been in pharma sales for roughly 3 years, and it feels like I’ve learned almost nothing in this role..
Are we even making an impact in these offices? I’ve got territories that have been vacant for +6 months at my company where they are ranked top in the district. Here I am slaving away day in and day out being less successful than a vacant territory. LOL
It’s becoming clear that this sales jobs in the industry is one, big scheme. There is a purple elephant in the room where everyone knows this job is BS but no one wants to speak this fact into existence because then the money train will run out. I’m 29 now and realized this within the first year in sales. My plan is to maneuver into an healthcare office role eventually because there is no way this scam can keep going on the next 30 years of my career. I don’t want to be left empty handed in skill set mid career
