Why are we keep hiring new folks with irrelevant to no experience with higher bonus and salary bracket while throwing loyal employees under bus.

Would these new hires happen to be coming from Mckinsey?

Isn't this all part of the new op model? Get rid of managers, senior managers, ADs, and replace them with clueless directors?

Dont forget - there seems to be a prerequisite that these McKinsey new hires dont have any pharma experience and dont necessarily require an interview to be hired. Some of the questions they are asking during their onboarding is downright reckless (ex: what is "fair balance" and do we really need it? what is a PI and cant we just put it somewhere and tell people its there so they can go look?).

It feels good knowing we prefer to show our capable and experienced staff the door in order to have some "fresh thinking" and non-industry perspective to really help propel us forward

Lol you mean the glorious staff that led to this mess? Half of the BMS directors are trash who couldn’t get hired as Walmart greeters. They are being propped up by the managers and ADs who do all the work.

You've talked to the same people as I have. At what point does this lack of knowledge, and lack of experience, in our field come back to hurt BMS? These people are even questioning 2253 submissions.

I agreed that 99% of AD and directors are clueless on any pharma development and just promoted up due to their excellent tongue flexibility. However, there are still this 1% folks there who actually knows what they are doing and patching mess of "99% of so called genius".

Don't worry. The remaining knowledgeable managers and ADs will soon be gone and replaced by more Directors.

Why not? This strategy makes perfect business sense. If there are no witnesses, no SMEs, then the decision makers cannot be held accountable for their mess.
