The Latest ILearn mandatory course on Harassment has possible "Witch Hunt" written all over it. Last 2 years had been 2 day ride alongs, unobtainable numbers, stressing the field with Administration drills to point of a quit, get fired for petty crap, or leave and now this. I say it first, this Harassment stuff may be the next way to thin the sales force, so watch out! Worse part, the course spoke very little to holding management accountable for same harassments????????? What a Soon to be Legal Issue!

My Boss Harasses me and the rest of our district daily, unless he is on vacation. Everything is a fire drill. He texts early mornings like 7:30am and into the 9pm night and weekends too. He hold telecoms were nobody speaks in fear of his attacks back for what they contribute. He get threatening if ever challenged. He pips all those below average for 3 month standings even after new territory alignments. One year a top performing rep, next six months decline do to higher goals then pip. This manager has been last to second last all his career why is nobly fired hi yet??? Please help with actual advise. Would this be harassment or what???

Human Resources is a joke, don't both wasting time with them, document everything as they do in these "SaVeYoUrAss FCR's. Document, Document, Document and when push come to shove share it with FDA....

Word od advice here, document with specific dates, times, witness, subject, outcome etc. Very important to have specific details in an black and white fashion. Eliminate emotion, just black and white facts about your situation. Also, get a lawyer before going to HR.

It's been written up on WBers many times. Evidence is not everything, it is the ONLY thing. The moment you started with this evil Co they opened a file on you. Good, bad and ugly goes in there all the time. When they need to get rid of you, if they have enough bad and ugly, you know where and how you are going.
You must do the same thing to them. The moment you start open a file on them, even before anything nasty they do to you or even during the "honeymoon " period wich we all have. In that file you too file good (if you like) bad and ugly (mandatory) as you see it and as you collect the evidence. But the way to do it is you PRO-ACTIVELY collect the bad and ugly on them not only if you see it as it happens, you look for it as hard as you can and harder. That way you will find the evidence of their misconduct and crime that is so wanted by FDA and DOJ of your states.
Once you have any hard evidence you are on the horse already. Do not stop ever just look, fined, collect and file. It is an ongoing work and will pay off big time when the right time comes. You may go out, hire a lawfirm specializing in qui-tam work and go after the bastards. Or you wait till they come after your ass. With the evidence on them your case is stronger than their evidence on you. They have far more to lose with you exposing their shit. You do this, you are in charge and safe from the evil that you got involved with. Remember, Novartis ain't your friend and you owe them nothing. Treat them the way they treat you, just someone to use for something for a while. Since you are here may as well benefit big time in the end. I did.

The real problem is when you look at Novartis management. Most are WAY over their heads with MBA's they got from the back of a matchbook!

With the Witch Hunts, more rope for managers to hang themselves. I witnessed a counterpart who was number 1 in our district be placed on a "values and behaviors PIP" for questioning and and exposing a manager as not having a clue about anything. The chickens are gonna come home to roost on this one.

This is why this company is going down the drain. I have a clueless MD, no sales experience before assuming the role and worst is that she thinks she knows everything, you can imagine the morale of the team of FLMs. The option, shut shut.
