Let’s be honest NICM patients should never get a Lifevest

If the statistics are analyzed the benefit of prescribing Lifevest for NICM is next to none. Medicare needs to look at Risk of SCD for these patients. When they do they will see it’s not needed. It’s a costly add on. Acute MI could benefit but NICM is stealing. Medicare and all commercial insurances need to look at the data and update their policies.

That’s all of my patients. Are the going to stop prescribing for NICM? That would be awful.

They do not share the data, but they have it. There’s a reason they don’t share it.

Saves in my territory are very rare. NICM patient saves are pretty close to non existent.
