I get that every politician is not an economist, and that economists come in all political flavors. Yet obama could have learned from the lessons following the great depression. Instead, he followed in exactly the same path that was taken then, extending and expanding the pain.
He could have chosen another option, of following a plan that worked! Huge deficits were incurred but with meaningful results.
