Looks like Mike "The Fat Man" Pearson & Co. are up to their usual money grabbing tricks.

There was an emergency meeting with the board over the weekend, they called it an "Extraordinary Meeting" if you will !

Bottom dollar is that Pearson & Co. are stringing along Cuomo so as they can get their grubby mits on the $12,000,000 on the table from NYS but theyve now decided to develop and run through validation, the Zeus lines, then move it to their plant in Waterford when launch stock is ready. WF already has the ploor plan.

Waterford will keep all current platforms (Go5. SDD \ SL59 \ SDDA \ Bio) plus benefit from the allocation, albeit later then hoped of the Zeus lines.

The last word is that it'll be a long process but Valeant will cease all manufacturing in Rochester by Q1 2015....Rochester to become a post apocalyptic waste land by mid 2015

Hahahahaha! Yes, you seem like a board insider. Hahahahaha. And if you were, you just broke the law. Hahahaha.

On 12/7 on the 'B+L Ireland' thread someone wrote "this past week there was an emergency meeting on Waterford in New Jersey , the same day when approx 60 people were let go in Rochester. The subject of this urgent meeting was shut down of Waterford, Valeant wants to target August 2014 and the pathetic BL leaders are saying if will take 3 yrs, easy decision here, WF is gone in Q3-2014 and that is unfortunate." That post and the post that started this thread can't both be true.

Significant investments in Waterford and Rochester manufacturing sites this year and next year , with new lens product introductions, will keep these sites in production for the foreseeable future. With few products in development, R&D in Rochester will continue to shrink. Manufacturing support, Plant Engineering in both sites, are safe for the time.
