Sure he does, as long as he is doing exactly what marketing and the NY people tell him to do. As far as any orginial ideas....that is another story!

Look, he's a good guy. the problem is the company thought that past success in retail will predict future success in hospital.

I think everyone can agree that hospital is like learning a completely new job. it's the people from outside the company (for the most part) that know what the hell their doing.

Some see it different! Poor strategies = less business. Garbage in = garbage out.

LM's business plan: start working at 5AM, work late, then do a program after that late call. Or we can all improve our results by imlimenting his new strategy: get patient starts. Why didn't I think of that? No wonder he is a director.
