To be clear, he is probably more deserving of this compensation than the vast majority of his peers, though even I, who consider myself to be a capitalism loving conservative, has to wonder when enough is enough. He and George have generated tremendous value and wealth creation via Regeneron.
What I would love to know is what story Len (or any other rich liberal) tells his liberal self to cleanse himself of the guilt of enjoying such riches? If you doubt his liberal creds, this is the man who not 2 years ago wrote an editorial in the NYT, suggesting that all US public companies be required to issue 1% of their equity for the next three years to a government run infrastructure bank.
