Lemtrada

anyone's thoughts on this drug? will definitely be a niche drug aimed just for patients who basically have failed everything under the sun. curious about JC positive patients and immunosuppression with this therapy. heard being approved middle of november with a price tag around 100k, rigorous REMs program, and no clear understanding of what PI warnings will be. Was told through interview process January or February US launch. Anyones thoughts on Genzyme MS division and company culture? Will Lemtrada save this companies chance at MS market cause aubagio sure isn't.

only a matter of time before that business unit implodes. aubagio which only has basically 6% national market share, the lowest prescribed MS drug, and forecasted market revenue by 2018 of maybe 1 billion will be off patent by 2018. and on top of the 175 aubagio reps, genzyme is hiring 80 new reps for lemtrada and more support positions i.e.) all the business relations managers, infusion managers, TLL, and nurses. how are all those salaries and bonuses to be supported by lemtrada hat analysts are saying at best will sell 500 million by 2018. run while you can people, that is a sinking ship.

I looked it up and it says the exclusivity expires on September of 2017. What are they going to do with all the Aubagio reps at that time? It'll be all the Aubagio reps plus Lemtrada reps on payroll. If Lemtrada doesn't do well this company seems risky. I hope they are planning on buying an MS drug.
