Do Lazanda reps even make calls? It seems to me if you don't have to get a sig, why would you even work at all? I know I only got a few "real calls" a day with a sig, the rest are just fakes. I would imagine they just put in fake calls all day long. I can't even get into some offices and I have samples! I can't imagine how hard it is to get into offices just to "educate" physicians.
 



The Lazanda reps make lots of calls. They are beaten down by the indication for cancer patients and primarily pain management targets as well as a complete lack of management. The absolute worst for that matter. Archimedes laughed on the way to the bank....

Maybe Archimedes laughed, but their private investors didn't. They poured in over $100 mil to that product, and sold it for $3 mil. If they are laughing, it's because they had a nervous breakdown.

Lazanda's launch failed. There are too many immediate-release fentanyls. No one cares. Still, Depomed can definitely get their money back. The same pain specialists prescribing Gralise will prescribe Lazanda once in a blue moon. Keep it in the bag, trot it out once in a while, and you'll make a few bucks.
