Amgen wants to reduce costs by reducing headcount. KAMs and some others may be impacted.

Enbrel sales decline every second yet have a huge sales force of true believers. They will be "integrated" into Derm Dynasty in Q4 2024. The resulting inflammation sales force (to be called Amgen Legends) will be 30 districts of 10 spread over 5 regions of 6. 342 is the final FTE count. The remaining legacy dermatology survivors who don't bend the knee will be packaged out. Good riddance.

I heard Chemocentryx is being "realigned" with high salaries—i.e., KAM is gone, and Enbrel reps are taking spots to sell Tavneos. Then will be aligned to rare disease.
