I’ve been hearing and reading about layoffs coming to ES in next 5 months. nothing with substance. can anyone on here verify if they heard this rumble or if they have facts that say this is true?

What is going to happen is the new general manager will ruin the division with lack of experience in oncology. Start running the division like primary care using useless metrics and data to evaluate success meanwhile year of relationships with academic and key institutions slip away.
acquired products providers don’t want don’t need and expanding a pipeline set to merge with screening eventually. The story is there start with screening and then continue on that path. Meanwhile these leaders don’t understand how oncology providers interact with companies lt’s sad to watch the experienced people leave and the needless titles coming to Exact. No growth opportunities in PO and restructures are inevitable with these recent changes.

This place started a sinkhole last year when oncoextra didn’t have 2 PO divisions to launch it and they said go figure out who wants it and train yourself on those new specialties that you are’t currently calling on. Then decided in the most profitable year to cut commission to the majority of the ROL team and they make less than any oncology division out there. Meanwhile the semi leaders enjoy their marathons and golf games and stock.
 






They could easily remove 60% of PO reps and not miss a beat. You are correct, the company does not understand how oncologist interact with representatives because 90% do not interact. The days of staying home need to end and hopefully KC does something about it. The only gig better than oncology rep is account manage. Amazing how all these people complain but they NEVER leave. The gravy train needs to end. Reduce PO reps 60-70% and pay the reps 20% more but hold them accountable every day.

Sounds interesting if you think 60% don’t work with only 100 ROL’s covering 1/2 the state and then the screening division has how many people working a few blocks long now who osnt working

PO needs different resources than screening and the mind-set on how to maximize time with institutions and key providers needs to be different. With relationships being lost and gained by competition it will make future launches unsuccessful. Wasting time with entering fake information into veeva will eventually catch up too. Forced programs with non prescribers is a waste of time. Firewalls with MSL’s and attending dinners or lunches also makes our division less respected compared to other diagnostic companies that share resources quickly and efficiently without delays and hoping through hoops

heartless Exact does layoffs without severance the new low standard - WOW just piss poor. The most profit year and layoffs with 30 days. You are just a nobody- leave. They don’t care about your families or survival. It’s pure greed now.
 
























My manager was laid off effective 11/10. Exact uses layoffs/position eliminations this time of year to make changes in teams. More are coming. You can never feel safe at Exact.

Of course more layoffs are coming. You “poop in the box”’reps are the most useless, grotesquely overpaid “sales” personnel in all of medical sales.
They could easily replace all of you with a small group of minimum wage high school dropouts working in a centralized call center, and not miss a best.
