Surprised it's so late. I've anticipated news of more layoffs since before the last earnings call.
Is that in addition to the one we got last week on Wednesday?
Who was impacted? Leadership is lying to our faces saying they haven't heard anything about layoffs
PO&T had layoffs Wednesday. Ruthless nonsensical stuff. Laying off managers who were 8 months pregnant and high level engineers who were well regarded with 20+ years experience.
Layoffs were announced to/within R&D, but no information was shared as to which groups/functions and how many people. No transparency whatsoever.
So far, haven‘t heard of any scientists affected, but the support functions (business operations, contracting, medical writing) were impacted.
Rumors of ANOTHER reorg in September. Just sell the company already!

Biogen has been know for years as a company who will lay off employees without hesitation or remorse - also gives very little severance- literally the worst in the industry

Layoffs suck for everyone but V shouldn't shoulder all of the blame. Michel's adu arrogance and allowing the bloat to occur in the first place deserve more credit here.
