Layoffs on Belviq contract?

Apparently Eisai will be having layoffs on Thursday. Does anyone know if this will be affecting the contract teams as well?

Rumors are the new savings card has not had the desired effect on total nbrx's, and the Eisai team will be cut down, with territories re-aligned.

Probably means a cut in quintiles reps as well.

My Eisai rep is good. I think most of the problem come from bad decisions and the constant reaction instead of being proactive. It's as if they don't know what they are doing.

Was there layoffs? If so, how many were terminated and how many of those were quintiles?

Very minor layoffs just on the quintiles side. They basically re aligned some territories. About 30 reps nationwide out of 260 are gone.

Note that all the reps removed were high performers including mangers. Hmmm. We should not start kissing each other's butts just yet.

all of the Eisai team was let go today...quintiles lost 30 of 264 represetatives. Quintiles team will also sell a new product, that contract is a 2 year deal....

The 30 - 34 who were let go were indeed the ones who led their districts with overall volume, growth and new rxs. It's try that many who kept their jobs today never even went to work, had sales in the gutter and literally logged in 4 calls a day if that much..

Short of you being a RM, you would have no idea those reps locations and numbers. I hope they land on there feet, been there done that, but is never fun to be in there positions

It's an Erectile dysfunction medication. Reps will be given samples and rumor is it will become the primary focus and Belviq second drug in the bag. Targets are to be shaken up as well.

All quintiles reps out of the field the next two weeks with home study, then classroom training and certification.

Eisai as a whole is not doing so well, so I don't foresee this being long term. To bad they didn't combine Belviq with phentramine sooner. The "safe" phen-phen will be a monster.

When will Stendra promotion begin and in which specialty offices? I thought there was another contract with Publicis promoting Stendra????
