Layoffs must not have been that bad

only 12 posts or so today on this site about the layoffs. Usually, when a large sales force has deep cuts, you will see 500+ posts on here. It's so insane, you can't even keep up reading all the updates. Those that have followed cafepharma for years know what I'm talking about! It was like this in 2010 and 2012, only a dozen posts today. Must have just been a few reps here and there. My area lost hardly anyone but we had vacancies which I'm sure helped out our odds.
 








Wow 6 partners is pretty overstaffed. I thought more than 3 was pushing it. However still feel bad for the reps that lost their jobs and your teammates of course. Layoffs are never easy. 2017 shaping up to be an interesting year. Buckle up!

Everyone's give a damn is busted! What do you want us to say? My area had vacancies too and nobody was retained.
 




I have a theory. Those that were laid off were out celebrating as soon as they found out they were cut from this shithole. Got drunk as a skunk and are still sleeping. When they wake up they will not even think of Takeda to waste the time to post on here.
 




My district had 7 reps and are now down to 3. Lets be real, Takeda is a disaster. The reps that were gifted a layoff are better off. Takesa claims to care about their people... ha what a joke!
 
























I was on the quintiles contract and I can tell you Takeda is junior league, I could have told you 2 years ago Takeda was a marginal pharma company relative to its peers.
 




Takeda has been a great company to work for. My pay is great, benefits top notch, no complaints here.
Obvious some good reps were eliminated and there are some upset people and rightfully so.

People eliminated were taking care off. My partner got $60K. Good luck to the people effected.

Hate that we lost so many good people. But the truth is that they could have done this a few years ago . I think they waited as long as possible. I will miss my friends. We have to try to help them all find other opportunities. Call Dms you know from other companies and recommend the good reps that were let go.
