Layoffs end of Q2!!!!

With Watson and Actava merger Par is doomed. The carousel ride is over with no more quarters!!!

Doomed. I'm confused. Strativa is the only company where the word "Layoff," is welcome. This is so funny, though, since half the salesforce quits during whatever year the company expands. God, it's so much fun watching this joke of a company continue to fail.

you miss strativa and hate your new job. keep posting on our board b/c we know who you are. the grass is not greener and your life is miserable now. what's the next reply/post?

Big meeting last week to improve moral, what the new plan? 1)Beatings will contuine untill moral improves 2) now you have to go to dinner with your manager after you spend the whole day in the car together.

Big meeting last week to come up with a plan to reduce turnover and improve moral, so what's the new plan? 1) beatings will continue untill moral improves and 2) now you will be going out to dinner with your manager when the are in town for field rides after spending the whole day in the car together

How will working late with my manager after a field ride suposed to improve moral? We just ate lunch earlier in the day. Am I suposed to be blessed just by his presence? I'd rather eat fast food with pleasant company

Strativas ideas to improve moral, typical work day during a field ride:

7:00 AM- Meet manager for breakfast- listen to ranting about getting more scripts
8:00 AM- Make first call so that signature is before 8:30 AM
8AM-12:00 PM- Drive around and sell and over the counter product
12:00PM- Lunch with Manager- at cheap restaurant so bill is under $18 (including tip)
1:00 to 6:00 PM- More calls selling products that NO ONE wants
6:30 PM- Goto Dinner with manager- No alcohol, keep under $10 a person
9:00 PM- Get home and synchronize and prepare for the next day
9:30 PM- Send a voice mail about a great call had that day- taking shakes to an office, or cookies to a nurse - this way manager can forward on to RP and AD to make it seem like you are selling something

This is Monday thru Friday, and Saturdays you get to leave work early by getting home at 5:00 PM. The best part is that you do all this work to earn a salary below the industry average and to recieve 20% of your bonus

At one point they made us do at least one day a week pizza runs after 6pm to nursing homes, they wanted reps to do 1 day a month calls on LTC on Saturdays. This company sucks because of the leadership. JM was a true leader, stayed out of the way of the qualified sales force and let them sell. That's when the company was having growth with ES. In comes RP and it's sig calls, time in/out territory lists, saturday calls and pizza runs. What a losing idea for keeping tenured reps. Then came the New/Old Strativa with AD as the sales leader, well that lasted for a few months then back to the RP way. Now it's the New/Old Strativa again, what a Fing joke. I got an idea, get rid of the drunk RP and his pet AD and just go back to the old Strativa. Get some real leadership, eliminate most of the underqualified manager (MF, PT, to start) and maybe things will change. Until then, this company will continue to decline and will no longer be part of the PAR model of the future. The New/Old/New/Old Strativa will go back to the old old days and just be PAR.

It is funny that post #4 picked this thread up regarding Q2 layoffs. Dipshit did it ever occur to you that the last post, may 2012, was merely talking about Q2 layoffs in 2012? You obvious didn't pick up on that since you replied in September... Unreal the iddiots that are allowed to operate company provided vehicles. (Please find a spelling error so you can make me look silly hahahhahahah).

Layoffs or not, who the hell would stay at this company. Upper managment is clueless and doesn't trust the reps. Managers don't trust upper managment or the reps. Reps don't trust each other, upper managment, or their managers. It's a cluster F**k and I want out. The downside is most companies are now familar with Strativa and it has stained my resume. Unless you look into other companies that have the same issues, your resume will just be tossed in the trash. Good luck to those that want to leave and god bless to those that decide to stay.
