When Novartis lays people off so they pay out unused vacation or personal days? Do they take back the company match portion of your 401K? How long do you get to keep your insurance?

They pay vacation remaining days, used to be 2 weeks per year of service severance, I believe if you’ve vested your 401 k (3years) whatever they matched is yours.

But what if we aren’t vested? There’s a whole lot of us who were hired 2 1/2 years ago in the expansion who don’t vest until year three.

under 3 years... you get nothing, no matching. it's not prorated.
