So how many total people were laid off during the restructuring? And how does that break down between Shire vs Takeda?

There were about 900 people total on the WebEx today. Not sure what takeda had before, but shire was maybe 350-400

There were 887 Field Sales Staff on Friday's All Hands Call (Reps, RM's, DM's, Trainers, Key Admin).
Prior to the layoff there were 893 spots on the PC Cresset Award Summary page of which there were 21 vacancies, which leaves 872 active Primary Care working Reps not including Shire Reps. No one knows for sure (except HR) how many Shire Field Sales Staff people became part of Takeda, all accounts seem to indicate around 400 total give or take.

there were 515 Shire Neuro territories approximately 80 were empty before layoffs.

The April MIC is in. We are down to 449 reps in Neuro primary care and 165 in GI primary care. So, 614 total excluding specialty divisions. That was a drastic cut.

they missed cutting two bad apples in the Philly area, not bad reps at all, just horrible soulless empty spaces of human beings
