I left Lillys 5 yrs ago after working for 5 yrs at Indy Dry in bldg 100; I seen the writing on the walls. People walking around doing nothing all day but socializing and eating and playing pool and working out; it seemed like no one ever worked. They would take 2 to 3 hour lunch breaks or leave as early as they wanted or falsify overtime. I knew there was no way this was goning to last with the patent expirations looming around the corner so I left and found a sweet job with a forutne 500 company and love it. But I have kept in close contacts with my Lilly co-workers via e-mail and phone calls. They are very nervous and some have already been let go; I was surprised to see this was not reported in the local media.
The easy breezy life at Lilly's is over.
