Last Day in the Field???!!

I am working today. I am trying to do the job I'm supposed to do but it is challenging. It is really weird to think that this could be my very last day in the field working and representing a company I really loved being a part of. I wish nothing but the very best of success to anyone reading this. Try and keep the faith that no matter what happens, you will be okay.

Order extra Olive Garden to take home. Could be your last free meal.

Shame on you! We should STOP all catering to doc offices! Oh wait, then our reps have nothing to do all day!
I am not the person making those other comments, but this comment is absolutely ridiculous. Lunches are the only ways I am able to get in front of a doctor and get my sales messaging across, so I do them everyday as much as possible. Emails, commercials, hard mailers, none of that crap works. It's in one ear and out the other, these doctors are so busy they don't have time to pay attention to that. Face to face conversation and true selling is still the best way to get the messaging across and convince doctors to write this product. If you think otherwise you are kidding yourself. Sometimes I could go two months I without seeing a doctor and then when I walk in, you can see the shame on their face as they admit to you they completely forgot all about the product but now that they see you it's fresh in their mind and they recommit to writing. Pharma still needs sales reps. Get rid of all sales reps and see what happens to your scripts.

If all the pharmaceutical salespeople on Earth got Thanos snapped out of this world tomorrow the only people who would miss us are our family and friends. Offices, providers and most important pharmaceutical companies wouldn't give it a second thought. We'd be replaced by the end of the month. Don't sweat it to the folks who have been laid off, there is plenty of greener grass out there. Companies that pay better, are run better, and have better products than Astellas. Truth be told, this company is now a bottom feeder in this industry as the past 6-9 months has shown. If you weren't shown the door over the past couple of days, I sincerely hope you are looking somewhere else because it's a sure bet that it's better than this place.

A good product sells itself. If the product works, they will prescribe it.
