Larry J. Merlo - What his eulogy should highlight.

What should Larry's eulogy include and highlight?

  1. That he overpaid himself through the construct of executive council condoned contrivance?
    1. Simply put, the Board. Executive compensation team, major stockholders, etc. all collude to pay top executives like large Larry a multiple that is obscene to the average American and CVS employee.
  2. That he ran a an operation so out of control with attributes of rampant greed and avarice?
    1. This is so well documented across his tenure. CVS dramatically changed from "OK" to brutal in every way it runs it's operations to how it treats its people. Shameful beyond redemption.
  3. He was the definitive picture of gluttony in virtually everything he inhaled and consumed?
    1. Anyone who knows Larry knows he is a man of gluttony. You know it when you see it.
  4. That all the political savvy in the world does not change how he really treated the American worker?
    1. As a leading American employer, there is no worse corporate leader than Larry in how he proverbially "SPITS ON" his employees. If he was working in an Italian family business he would be run out to the country and shamed for how he has treated human beings.
  5. He oversaw a HEALTHCARE company and RAN his professional pharmacists into the proverbial GROUND with GREED?
    1. What a PARADOX. A "leader" of a Healthcare company that has disrespected the very profession that has led CVS to SERVE, not extract very last U.S. dollar possible from the American public. Pharmacists have been brutalized in every way, by every metric and parameter possible placing their conscience, their profession, their patients at risk daily. And large Larry laughs from the balcony.
  6. His excess has tangibly helped tear the very fabric of our society, culture and ethos apart at its seams?
    1. It is a fact, this excessive executive compensation creates a cheating culture that tears society apart. Larry is a leader in that for sure. That is a critical FACT that needs shared at his eulogy.

All these things we attest are TRUE. And all these things matter far more than the charitable crap he oversaw that resulted from his excessive executive compensation. He is the epitome of excess, the personification of self aggrandizement in the United States of America. He is a false god that needs to give all his ill earned wealth away. And, he needs to apologize and kiss each former or current employee he's abused for his REIGN of TERROR perpetrated across America.

These 2 hit home. Three generations of pharmacists and one worked until "CVS" almost" killed them with the things you reference in 2 above.

Guess people are SCARED to comment on this CEO that rides off into a contemporary sunset with more money than Al Capone ever dreamed possible. It is a story of American excess and gluttony beyond most people's comprehension. And now we will see what femininity brings to this massive company in 2020 and beyond. Will she even show any humility, restraint and pay herself less out of honor and ethics. You might say she deserves every last red cent equal and above LARGE Larry. I say, enough. Show us you are a different kind of leader. Or is it simply status quo and select a moral issue to look the part? Substance? Or facade?

Betting massive façade. Worse than all the men before her. And that is why in 2020 the people will ultimately find ways to rise up. There are no heroes. No saints in this game they dress up as doing "good" in healthcare. It is for massive profit. What they do is disproportionately enrich themselves for transgenerational wealth. The Game, and they believe they are entitled. Entitled to as much as they can grab.
