LabCorp in PA

Has anyone run into Clear Path Labs? They apparently are moving into PA and marketing in Allentown. Supposedly telling accounts that they accept UHC, but not listed as provider on UHC's website!? They have been in many of my accounts recently.

Dear Stupid:
There are other ways to get paid by UHC without a lab agreement. Maybe you should try selling instead of waving manage care lists in front of providers. They don't cover that in sales training do they?
Sincerely,

Exactly right...just another crap lab wasting money going against the big boys. No couriers, no contracts, no customer service/support...just delusional outcasts from other labs trying to make an themselves look good at the companies expense. Let them waste their time and money, they'll have zero impact.

Very sad for you in your defense of that shit box of a company, lab crap. I worked there for about 15 mins while between real positions. What a magnet for talentless losers. What a tight wad cheap organization that sticks it to the very people that bring in revenue.

If you feel that other labs are wasting their time going against the likes of you, you are exactly where you belong. Every office hates labcorp. they use you because in some cases they have to. I've effectively doubled what I earned in that shit house. And in the brief time I was there, I successfully fought with them and won as they tried chiseling me out of a legitimate commission. If that kind of bs floats your boat, then full steam ahead cap'n.

Well said Sparky !!!!!

Yeah, you're right. A lot of under-performers felt the same way when working here. Those of us who actually work and meet our quotas always seem to do well. It's also peculiar how the best performing reps have the happiest customers. I'm glad you were only here for 15 minutes; that way you weren't too much of a drain on our resources. But hey, good luck guy.

Right you are, my man. Those 1% raises and stolen commissions are a big drain on resources. Why thiink how much more DK and the rest of your bosses were able "earn."
But as long as you are satisfied.... no harm no foul.

Yes, glad to leave so there'd be more "resources" at your disposal: are we talking about the labcorp phone line you pay for in your home office? Or did you mean the $45 monthly cell allowance? Or was it the $100/mo they ding you for the privilege of Driving that Aztec, chevy hhr or whatever other clown car they provide? Yes, happy to move on and stop draining those generous health benefits so maybe they could lower the astronomical deductible for you ...hope that deductible is met before your wife's gastric lap band surgery this Fall. Were the $50 Copays to have doc look at her bunions any more manageable now that I'm gone? Have annual increases jumped without me draining those resources ...1pct was it? How's all that great training now that I'm gone? Taught you how to say "mayo on the side for that sandwich tray I'm picking up this morning, please".

Using those resources to feed fat nurses and office managers who hate you? Here's an idea - use those resources and buy a stopwatch so you can time how long Doc keeps you waiting and then how little time he gives you let alone how little he cares about whatever other shoddy cheap testing you peddle. Remember, you are there because in certain situations you are required to be. You are not there because you are good at what you do and dont be fooled into thinking otherwise. If you were any good at what you do, you wouldn't have to work at a place where your company handcuffs doctors decisions thru managed care.

Sorry, actually I was referring to resources as the 62K in commission I made last year. Keep up the good fight, though...keep your head up...things will work out for you with the Grace of God. Now go fuck yourself.

Excellent! 62k, good for you! Let's see, 55k base plus 62k...$117k!!!

Congrats money bags! You make slightly more than half of what I do. I'd offer to buy you dinner but I know you need to run along and log your sales calls online and report your mileage since you Cant be trusted to Motivate yourself. Ill bet you love treating the family to Applebees. Some other time maybe.

Such hostility junior!

this was a bad year for me a Genzyme. What the hell has happened? how have i fell so far, barely making plan. Networking like crazy. Get me the fuck out of here.

This is the most amazing phenomenon: these people are quite comfortable and pleased in their accomplishents, seemingly oblivious to the fact that there is so much more out there.

Isn't this a little like Stokholm Syndrome?

Keep plugging away, you'll get out eventually. As a recruiter explained to me, it can be difficult to explain why you work for LabCorp, especially if you've stuck a while. There's a stigma of lack of discipline and laziness. In your case, you had no choice. Good luck.

I for one would like to know what industry you work in. I am no longer with Labcorp not of my own doing and I would welcome any help.

It really is an oppressive, repressive, depressing environment. The attitude is, "If you stay here and tolerate this, you must not be able to do any better, so we'll just keep treating you like crap." As Groucho said, "Any club willing to have me as a member isn't worth joining!" It is impossible to "relax" and make a contribution, knowing that you are just a number and can be RIF'd on a whim. If I never hear a Southern accent again, it will be too soon.

Nobody could have said it better.

This couldn't have been put more eloquently. The is not the single worse job I've had but it is starting to get close. I have never felt more devalued and unappreciated in all the time I've worked here. I remember when reps actually had a voice and were able to make decisions. Now...I can't wipe my own ass without permission. Wake up Integrated senior management you've lost control and its really obvious.
