Atherotech continues to wholesale the VAP test to other labs which undercuts it's own reps ability to grow and maintain business in the field. The Vap test through lab Cor is reimbursed by insurance because of the two CPT codes that are used which makes life much happier for physicians and patients. When Atherotech shows up and sells the VAP+ test, this third CPT code generates a bill to the patient. I just figured it out, dump VAP+ and go back to VAP and make our lives easier!
