Please tell me you are a employee of the lab we bought? Because if you are a step above the minimal reason to be medically diagnosed of mental impairment, you would realize your statement sounds as if you partake of this substance!

Why?

if you think a meth addict will go to a PSC, you have never received proper training, let alone minimal education. Now, to give the benefit of doubt, that you may well be exactly as I described above.....

Any person addicted to any substance that is freely going into a physician office, let alone a Independant PSC, is not a active addict. These are patients actively trying to no longer be addicted to whichever substance is that persons kryptonie. So the pregnant patient could very well be the former addict sitting next to a pedi. Do you worry that a person that goes to weekly alcohol anonymous meetings go to the same PSC that babies are at?
 






Again avoiding the issue. LabCorp buys crap labs like Bendiner and keep them crappy. Then they buy a good lab like Medtox and will destroy them. Sales reps from Medtox pitched us to come to our lab last week!
 


















Bendiner is not a crappy lab. The PSCs that I've seen have a high child volume from the clinics they have contracts with, only a few meth addicts. They get a few compared to the families that go. People who are on meth don't care about their health, but unlike some people, i wish they did. I was there, and if you met me now, you would never know. Everyone has a story, and how they got there is no ones business. And if people are so cold as to hate and not help, then leave them alone. People that hate, and whine all day long, but don't try to make a difference should just keep to themselves. You get addicts everywhere you go. Esp RNs who are wonderful people and get addicted to pain meds because that's the only way they can push through their pain from their incredibly difficult job of taking care of YOUR loved ones. Don't be so judgemental of people unless you want to be judged yourself. If you are such a great person then why are you sitting in front of ur computer hating people. If you want there to be less drug users, get off ur butt, get out in the world and make a difference. If you feel like its not ur problem, then why are you even involved in this thread. Back to the subject, Bendiner was a wonderful lab, and anyone else that I've interviewed with wants me to work with them because with this lab, when I wanted to do geriatric, I did, then psc, I did, vents, HIVpatients, housecalls, cerecral palsey. Because of them I was able to expereience it all . Bendiner is very generous to their employees, and this was the first job I ever really loved. I experienced so many diff places with them, its very sad to see such an exceptional place close.

People would love to help out, but it's like asking wild animals not to bite. They might also be less hateful if addicts weren't committing 99% of extremely violent crime against random victims.
 






I know nothing of LabCorp but Bendiner & Schlesinger is sure one crappy lab. B&S will not answer questions about proper procedure asked by CASAC workers that use their services. People who show positive for a substance from a B&S lab have had negative toxicoligies later from other labs with tests performed the same day within hours. People taking acetaminophen with codeine come up with positives for opiates (which is normal) but then B&S says that they need more money to do more testing of the sample to determine the actual opiate detected. This additional testmust be a GC/MS test which is supposed to be performed automatically for any positive tox screen. Inother words B&S does NOT follow their own advertised protocol or the proper forensic protocol when performing urine toxicology screening. B&S will not follow up on CASAC workers questions about these procedures. B&S is a low quality ripoff lab that can't even follow the simplest protocols for urine screenings. I hope that LabCorp does not follow this lead. B&S are thieves.
 






























Well, labcorp have old contacts withBendiner and/Labcorp,all they really want are the tox and forensic accounts. They have nothing else. Everything else is done on the cheap. They are around for along time and when Universal Labs folded and Quentin Labs was destroyed by their owners they received an influx of these two labs accounts. I donot know how many accounts were left because Shiels got the major amount of salespeople and accounts. And Shiels is hot.

All these labs are crap. They are just to make a quick buck or found easy money by screwing someone or some process. The sales people are screwing everyone,especially hopping around from one lab to another selling the same accounts.
