Know any Good Recruiters

If you do not have a profile on LinkedIn, get one together ASAP. You can find many recruiters there and they will be able to reach out to you.

Can't underestimate the LinkedIn profile, it's SO Important...also give Paige Jack a call she's got lots going on and is VERY well Connected 561-339-8138

Recruiters are a huge waste of time and effort. They are like real estate agents. Worthless.

Companies can easily get 100 s of qualified applicants with a simple post on linked in on Indeed. They are no longer needed.

You speak out of ignorance. You are obviously not a manager. When managers go to hire they don't waste their time scouring Linked in where there are no phone numbers and information is slanted and not up to date. Posting a job on indeed yields hundreds of resumes from unqualified candidates that we don't have time for. Recruiters do the screening for me and make recommendations.

If you want a job go to a recruiter.

Agreed.. Also, most managers would rather use internal or recommended candidates for their team.

Forgot to mentioned, yes, I am in my mid 50's, cannot even navigate on a computer and I would rather pay somebody to do my job..You will do well being unemployed...cheers.

Actually I've hired a lot of reps, most through recruiters, some through referrals and none through the internet. By the way I'm hiring right now.

I'm not saying don't use the job boards. I'm saying get a recruiter also. They take your resume straight to the hiring manager. When you post for a job the resume gets filtered by computers and HR Interns.

Here's an article to read:

Why Posting Resumes on Job Boards and Company Web Sites Doesn't Work Well?

The best way to get a job is to form a relationship with a recruiter. Then when you see opportunities on the job boards. Do Not Post. Instead send the posting to your recruiter. He knows the hiriing manager and will take it straight to him or her. If you post for the job yourself the recruiter will not help you as he cannot collect a fee on a candiddate who has already posted. Also if you post the screening program for the company computer will filter out your resume 99% of the time unless you have all the right key words and phrases. Also don't rely on just one recruiter as they all have different search asignments they are working on.

Still looking for some good recruiters...Any help?

I'm sure there are some that have particularly good relationships internally at companies...but the majority share the same MLS-like open position data.
Just doesn't help to send your CV to a big big bunch of recruiters who will all send it into a single site manager.
Looks wacky.
