Key people in the administration announcing plans to leave

No matter the outcome, they are leaving. Have they had enough or just see the writing on the wall?

It happens in most every administration - Do you remember much the same taking place during the Cheney/Bush Presidency?

Either you have a short memory, tunnel vision or blinders on - Most likely all as evident by the increased disconnect from reality you are exhibiting in your threads/posts.

Yes, it always happens and it is always discussed.

Clinton is interesting because she is only in politics because of her husband's presidential run, having never been in politics previously and rocketing to top level positions. Still, she is viewed by many as one of the most competent in this administration and she has received more positive press than she ever has before. There are very debatable rumors about her challenging obama which I don't think will happen as she is far to savvy to fall for that.

Daley is more puzzling as he has nto been a long term part of the administration. He was tasked with improving relationships and the perception of obama with business. With obama's rhetoric, is this a job anyone would want?

Your insults are getting old.

Just more silly ranting. Not only did this happen in the Bush administration, some of those who left wrote books about his lack of abilities andf his fuckups and, in fact, endorsed Obama. Were you drinking tonight or what? You have the ability to present a decent argument at times - this honestly i not one of them.

What rant?

Read the previous post again:

Why would I discuss departures from Bush's administration now, when the topic and current issue is changes in this administration?

So why is this off limits for discussion? Are we not to ask why certain people are choosing to leave? Yes, people leave every administration. But the previous exodus of the financial team was noteworthy as is the departure of these two key individuals.

Many in the nation are talking about what Hilary plans for the future. I've had conversations wtih people who admit they wouldn't want Daley's job. Just so I have your inane rules straight, are we not to talk about who might replace them either?

BTW, others are announcing they are leaving as well but no one else highly noteworthy imo.
