Hey Valeant, it might be important to maintain the companies you buy instead of focusing so much on buying up more little companies. Our managed care sux, our samples are scarce and not a reliable resource for growing business. The new coupons cant be used in most states for the indicated useage (ocular surgery-mostly the over 65 group) and IF a rep has a working computer they are ajead of the game.

How many on the Blue team hit goals in 1st Q? What about White?

How many empty territories? How long does it take to make decisions on how to re structure?

Whatts up dudes? This is DISRESPECTFUL.
 






As a blue team member I have to say these are great questions that we will never get a answer to simply because they don't really care. The folks that could answer are still getting paid their million dollar bonuses and we continue to be kept in the dark and take their $hit! We consistently hear how things will get better, yet every week there is another problem and another lame excuse. May be time to update the resume and really start looking.

Not behind, just was hopeful. Been here a long time and seen lots of changes, some good, some bad and some are just stupid....but I gave hung in there because I was always ranked good, get paid well, and I really like my docs and my territory. I soon stick with the Hell I know vs. the Hell I don't. However, Valeant is a way different beast. I have just never seen a company continue to crap on their employees over and over. I don't want to go back to primary care, I sure don't want to work for Alcon or Allergan so what's left. Just taking my time to find the right fit. Besides after this next reorg. who knows what that will bring. How many folks will loose their job on this round.
 












There is always AMO surgical, might be worth looking at? Not that Abbott is probably any better but you could stay in ophthalmology & maybe stay in yoir territory.

I recently declined an interview with AMO when I told the hiring mgr my total compensation and the response was AMO would be about the same except that my base salary would go down almost $40K annually but I'd make up the rest on bonus dollars........yeah, right. I'm not gonna take a $40K pay cut on guaranteed salary in hopes of breaking even on the bonus side.

AMO surgical has great products but their reps are leaving because they're not getting paid well either. Better to not get paid well with a high guaranteed base than not get paid well with a $60K base, but that's me.
