Keep Benefits or Take New One's

Kind of a crazy question here but if it could be done..it would save alot of money... If you were displaced you get a years worth of free medical and dental from Novartis...what if you take a job with another company(obviously most will) can you decide to not take benefits for the first year with your new company and just use the Novartis benefits....if so, this will put alot more money into your monthly checks with not having money being withdrawn for medical and dental...??

I would think you could.
If you were newly hired to Novartis you have the option of no Medical or Dental and then
next year when they have the benefit enrollment, you just sign up then.
Just make sure they do that and there may be no overlap

yes you can. Already asked my new HR generalists and she said absolutely. BTW New compamy is happy not to have to pay for my insurance this year.
