Kaiser.....Huge Win for Lilly!!!

Kaiser Soze is our new CEO! Are you serious? That guy is bad arse.

Our new CEO is actually Kaiser Wilhelm. Since he died many years ago, it is unlikely that he can do much to benefit shareholders. On the positive side, since he is dead he cannot make things significantly worse, like our current and previous CEOs have done.

Kaiser Permanente has announced that all Lilly reps are allowed to deliver cupcakes to candy stripers and volunteers in the break area. This will no doubt "move the needle" on Lilly's premium placebo-like products.

There are some restrictions. Reps are not allowed to gift docs with such items as ginger tea which have pain-relieving and serotonergic properties even better than Cymbalta. You have to draw the line somewhere.

Stop in the box

It's the norepi that matters anyway.

I'm bummed about it not being Soze, but the dead dude has got to be better than the last 2, no?

You Lilly reps are so f''''ng stupid!
You stole the insulin business away from Novo
dmmmmmmmmm you all!!!!

No one stole anything. Lilly is pretty desperate right now; they simply undercut Novo in price. They'll continue to enter into non-profitable deals with MHCs with the hope of spillover into profitable channels. So far, it hasn't worked--the value of their diabetes franchise continues to drop. But, that hasn't stopped them from trying. Not sure how they plan to turn it around, but the "let's give a HUGE rebate for exclusive status on a plan" seems to be their MO. I guess time will tell.....

I agree with this poster, Lilly is desperate for business. Novo did the right thing by cutting Kaiser off at the knees!

Hmmmmmm.....you might want to re-examine who lays off and who doesn't. Novo is doing terrific right now. Lilly....not so much.

I knew we were in trouble 3-4 years ago, when on my way in to LCC, I would be flipping through the radio stations, and Novo was advertising on NPR ..... in INDIANAPOLIS .... right on our home turf. "We are in serious trouble" I thought....
