Just got the call

These are the best.

-Want to see the Dr? You must bring smoothies or coffee or a snack.
-You bring said things and spend a lot of money.
-Dr comes back to see you for 1 minute and then says, "I'm really behind, thanks for this, though."
-You leave in shame wondering to yourself, "What am I doing, exactly?"
-You then go sit in your car for an hour or two and surf the net on your phone.

I've been holding back but i just have to say how happy i was to leave forest. You guys and gals don't understand how much greener the grass is on the other side. I had crazy Counterparts, an even crazier DM who would call us on a DAILY basis. He would check our time stamps and do other annoying/micromanaging stuff. I left in March after we heard about the merger and I am SO much happier now

I fell for this once, then, twice. Second time I sat in my car and stared and the steering wheel for about an hour and contemplated my life. Not a good afternoon.

My favorite was when I let nurse order lunch for a clinic and a 19 year old admin asst order a 50-dollar rib eye and bake potato. She sent the order. I said "who ordered the steak? The new girl in the back. A dumpy little girl with greasy hair with balls and a big appetite.

Lesson learned. I left the industry, or should I say "aged out".
