Just applied

Hi, I worked for Pdi a fewyears ago as a flex repand had to leave due to my territory being eliminated. So I am familiar with what a challenge the job can be. However, there is another flex opening in my area and I have applied. It is better than unemployment. What products are currently being promoted? Anything other than Tamiflu? Is the pay rate still $20 per call? And is there still a car allowance plus mileage, or are they back to straight mileage? Thank you in advance!

Okay, yes better than unemployment. The new management staff is clueless. It is a different company since I started several years ago. The pay still by the call with mileage reimbursed. Two new drugs, two clients. Laid off in May, started training July with training for both. The training for one of the drugs was way over the top. Best of luck!

I saw about 70 new flex-time postings on PDI website around July 11. Recruiter told me she can not disclose any information at this time; very confidential; and that she would contact me as soon as she knew more. So how are you training already?? I have not even interviewed.

OP here. I just heard from the recruiter, and she said the contract is very confidential and will let me know when she has more details. I wonder if it is Pfizer? They never reveal that the contract is for them until hiring has taken place. Has anyone heard one face-to-face interviews will begin?

Finally! I think things will start moving on this contract now- recruiters got the green light yesterday! Still don't know the company or products, but hope to know more in coming days...

I received an email with a link to the job application. PDI stated that upon completing application I would be contacted in order to move along into the interviewing process.

It has now been more than a week and I have heard nothing back from PDI.
That seems a little unusual to me.

Does someone out there with PDI experience have any helpful input? Do they drag their feet? Anyone else heard back from PDI at this point?

Thanks

Don't hold your breath waiting to hear from PDI as you will turn purple and die first.

Ok. Thanks for the input. Evidently, PDI has a reputation for poor follow up.

So you are saying that even though THEY contacted me to say they would proceed further with interviewing....don't count on it?

I believe you, as it has already been 8 business days since I completed their application and still no word

Don't be afraid to annoy the recruiter. I have emailed mine many times for status updates since I first applied 1 MONTH AGO. Finally, I believe this contract is moving along...Have now been told it may be next week for interviews, etc... BUT, I still do not know who this contract is with? Does anyone know???? I'm fairly certain it is not Tamiflu.

Has anyone heard a thing about the status of these opportunities??

I completed the application they sent me over two weeks ago and have yet to hear a thing.

The confirmation they sent me said "respond by Sept 1". Does that mean they are not beginning interviews until after Sept 1?
