Met with a couple of GI's in my territory that did the LAZINESS trials. They laughed at how weak their data is. It doesn't even address global symptoms for IBS, and their CIC data only measures efficacy at 3 bowel movements a week. What a joke, they know that Amitiza does 6 bowel movements a week and there are no electrolyte imbalance like LAZINESS has. It doesn't heal/restore junctions between epithelial cells like Amitiza. So, will the docs want to heal their IBS patients or give them Oxycontin for the gut. Plus, no elderly indication and insurance will put LAZINESS behind Amitiza in dosing protocol. He also referenced how Amitiza has a great safety record, 7 million patients in 7 years and didn't kill mice in clinical trials. They said they are just getting pounded by all these Forest Slobs and IW drones. They laugh at how the Forest slobs know nothing about disease state and all the IW drones used to sell Amitiza to them. They all said LAZINESS is not worth it for another chloride channel activator. Just proved my nickname for a Forest rep aka Forest Slob. You don't even know the IBS market, docs are laughing at you and so am I. Did you mean $3 billion to $5 billion? You didn't even get that right, it's more like $10 billion, buttercup. Glad to have a dumbass like you as my competitor, kicking some LAZINESS ass will be much easier than I thought!
