JUNE and IS has no numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we know what we sold in 2012....our quotas are based on that period....why does IS not have quotas or numbers 6 months into the year?...largest pharma co in world and too cheap for numbers?
 












Doesn't it motivate you every morning to now know what your numbers are. Those numbers are so arbitrary. Just enjoy it. Go to Barnes and Noble or a gym for a few hrs. Get in shape or get your mind in shape. Your mind is atrophying each day you are out in the field. Admit that you are becoming dumber by the day. Not all your fault. You are not being challenged. Why should anyone work that hard when they have no idea of what they've done for the past 5 months. Tell a salesman who gets paid on a monthly basis or commission that you haven't had sales numbers for 5 months and are expected to still do your job. It's a farce.
 












IS hasn't received numbers because due to Pfizers internal austerity measures. It's a fact, leadership began the process of extracting numbers but adbruptly stopped early in the process.

In an effort to reduce expenses no numbers will be provided. The IS group's contribution to the SCBU has not met expectations. All bonuses will be based on business objectives in Q's 1,2 and 3. Q4 will see a significant reduction in IS headcount.

Sorry to deliver the bad news. I didn't want to inform the salesforce due to the backlash I'm sure I'll get. But the fact is IS will see drastic reductions.

Dummy. You aren't a salesman and you have a salary that pays you way too much. Your salary should be enough motivation.

Hey Nostradamus- we know something has been up, for a few months now. The final bulletin is not filling vacancies. Not having sales numbers, not being paid bonus for Q1,not having a POA meeting,starting to use contract reps for Tygacil,Zyvox getting a label change which stymies any potential growth, budgets being severely slashed, Prevnar 13 not going anywhere else, until new recommendations, and no numbers have all told us all to start looking. Hopefully most managers will back off, as we will remember how they treated us on the way out!! Mine at least told me to get ready for a August surprise, and has been helping rewrite my resume.
 




Has the contract sales force even been hired yet? I could use some help since I'm at the beach 2-3 days/week. Lets get going with the contract this way I can take the whole summer off.

Me too! Is that u in the speedo?
I was told under the radar that there is no question things will be changing this summer. My manager just said final meetings in June. The iPad roll out will be AFTER changes are announced. That means September at the latest. Is there anyone out there that still believes IS is going to be here in 6 months?
 




This is main reason pharma 'sales' can not claim to be in SALES. How. much did you SELL last quarter? what's your commission on the sales? what is Dollar volume vs last year? .... The company spends a lot of time and money keeping up with this information (Pfizer Corporation SELLS pharma products, we in the field market them) .. How much do you make on every script? We don't really know for sure, just have to trust what they feed us.

You seem to believe that you are the center of the universe and the change in vendors only affects IS. Get your head out of the sand and look around.
