Good luck!
Happy for ya but not exactly a mind blowing move....
I'd be more inspired to hear examples of Forest reps attaining positions at some of the top tier companies. Anyone had success moving to Oncoloy? Celgene? Genentech? Similar?
There are so many ex-Forest people with tremendous jobs. I run into or get a message from at least one ex-Forest person almost every week who is doing very well elsewhere.
This whole concept that people from Forest will never be hired anywhere else because "Forest is so bad" is a complete joke. Probably spread by those who left and couldn't get a better job due to their own shortcomings or inability to interview well.
If you want to leave, sharpen your resume, practice interviewing (it is a skill that diminishes if you never use it), and stop worring about the haters. If you want to stay know that Mgmt will be so pre-occupied with what's going on with Executive Mgmt that they probably will leave us alone more than they do now. And if we are going to get sold, stick around, ride the wave, and get a package - especially you old-timers.
Left for high tech industry. Made 300k last year.
Not very bright, Merck is a sinking ship....

But let's be honest...aren't they ALL sinking ships???
