No. I made more money working for Novartis than any company I've been with. My bonuses were higher and benefits greater. I got promoted six times in eleven years and had six free cars. They hired six friends of mine who also had good careers. We have all to other companies. The grass isn't greener. It's pharma. It's all the same. Go trying tobsell copiers or insurance and tell me how great life is. Quit bitching. It's not Novartis fault your career is dead...it's yours!! All they do is give you the same chance to make a living as everyone else. If you can't capitalize well that's your fault.
 






My bonus was less than half what I earned at my previous company. They paid me very well to come over, but the hell of the last 5 years made it very sweet to retire this summer. I don't know what bonus structures are in pharma at this time, but we used to equal our salary in bonus!

Yes...And when you interview w/another company.... & show your numbers - you first have to argue they are YOUR numbers because of the stupid POD. Then you have to explain how your product mix changes every quarter, or/and how you can only provide data from 3 months ago - because it takes 3 months to get a MIR, or how about the fact that we are now changing to trimesters from quarters. You sound like a idiot explaining all of it, in reality your explaining the truth that "novartis is run by a bunch of idiots"?! IT really does make Novartis look like a poorly ran company that doesn't know what it wants to do or be.
 






First, the training you receive at Novartis is valuable. It seems like overkill, but it is valuable to industries with few reps and limited training depts. Second, numbers are only requested if you stay in pharma. If you are getting out of pharma, co's have no interest even if the new field is still sales. Print off those stupid generic looking confirmation of completion letters. You will be doing yourself a huge favor

Training? You have to be kidding right? Even the trainers tell you it's a joke now.
 






I had sex every other night while at Sheridan Parsippany NJ 2-3 weeks training, it was awesome. Many different partners, colleagues some of which I still connect with from time to time, and yah I learned so much. What a Joke!!! Novartis is the "Joke" in the Pharma industry, as they have been around since 1998-1999.

Every drug they launch is promised to be a "BLOCK BUSTER" what a joke. Since 1999 Nofartis has tried to launch 32 compounds only to have 13 approved and non of them "BLOCK BUSTER" = 500 million in first year of sales! Every shit product they launch is promised as "Block Buster", over praised, under delivered less than poor! What a joke, sit back enjoy the bull sh-it, take the check, claim the unemployment when time comes and re-invent yourself.

Married now, had two beautiful children and still milking this dump for all I can. My husband stays home loving the fact I am not dedicated to such a dump company as Novarrtis. After all he was a VP for Novartis in his past. Ha, Ha, Ha.. we have last laugh...
