It only matters what the geniuses on Wall Street think (if you can legitimately say they actually think at all). Just as long as the stock price stays overinflated until he cashes in on all his options, then crash!
I hope John was able to put a few pennies aside for retirement.
John's commitment to diversity was clearly a major factor in deciding who should be his replacement.

With a net worth of only $500 million, I'm sure his retirement will be very uncomfortable. We all need to work harder to ensure his pension is fully funded.

That is true below a certain level within the organizational chart. For the top levels, options are still in place.
