I don't see it. Travolta won't be able to pull off a mob guy his Pulp Fiction role notwithstanding.

If they are going with Pesci, then they should have gone DeNiro, Pacino etc. Stereotypical? Yes. But those guys cohld pull it off.

I love mob movies, but Travolta would keep me from watching.
 






DeNiro and Pacino are typical 'mob' characters in movies. This will be refreshing. I think Travolta will be great. Gotti had a very charismatic persona and Travolta can pull this off.

I agree - I think it'll be a good movie.
 






This would be a great 'break out' role for an up and coming actor. It's time to turn the page on the usual 'suspects' starring in mob movies.

I am a fan of DeNiro and Pacino but they have played so many of these type characters and they are both in the twilight of their careers.

Although he is not a 'new' face, Michael Imperioli (Christopher from the Sopranos) might be able to pull this role off. He would be my first choice.
