JOB TITLE:Senior Finance Manager
REPORTS TO:Executive Vice-President
POSITION LOCATION: White Plains, NY (Headquarters)

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Exempt Full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM
POSITION SUMMARY
The position is accountable for the Finance and reporting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop accurate and timely financial reports, including budget, forecasts, margin analysis and insights/recommendations, for monthly and annual financial reviews, breaking down by region, products and brand. Communicate this reporting to Executive Team on a regular basis.
• Assist in the monthly closing process, including the issuance of financial statements
• Assist SVP of Sales in developing volume forecasts and state level spending budgets
• Controller of Marketing & Sales department with monthly meetings and reconciliation. Approve and code A&P invoices – ensuring compliance with established delegation levels.
• Oversee the entire sales discount program. Manages team that handles chargebacks as well as planning and reporting processes related to them.
• Drive efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining, standardizing, and automating financial transaction processing and reporting
• Evaluate, recommend and implement internal controls, accounting policies, procedures and systems, where appropriate suggesting initiatives finalized to costs savings
• Work independently to analyze and consult management on recommended changes relating to overall business improvements
• Perform budget variance analysis for specific cost centers and/or facilities
• Provide support for external financial audits
• AD-HOC projects and reports as requested by Management & International Controlling team
• 4 Direct Reports – Senior Sales Operations Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, Jr Financial Analyst and Business Intelligence Analyst

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• BA in Accounting or Finance, MBA Preferred
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of recent experience in a Controller (or similar) position, with progressive levels of responsibility and a solid understanding of US GAAP in a CPG company. Experience in a BevAl company a plus
• Technologically savvy, with a great knowledge of Microsoft Office and an advanced proficiency in Excel + SAP accounting system
• Proven analytical experience in accounting/finance; undeterred by challenges lacking a standard solution.
