I know that it was mostly Newt’s doing, but Clinton had the good sense, to GTF out of the way and take credit for the economy, which was his right. Bush is a War Criminal for Iraq, with the Dirtbag Cheney truly running the show. Medicare Part D, while a GREAT benefit to us all, increased the size and scope of entitlements. Finally, Bush did NOTHING about the Mortgage crisis. He is a truly dense Human Being, That gleefully made the Coward/Fairy Obama possible. Then there are the scum Bushies all over cable, like the Neocon Princess Dana Perino and her bestie the POS Nicole Wallace, Karl Rove, and Matthew Dowd. Yep, Bush and Cheney made a tough call fully legal, fully reasonable, with solid justifications and fully within presidential powers. With the benefit of hindsight in your opinion it was a disaster. And they did get a lot wrong. They won the war and lost the peace. They should have replaced Saddam with another Bathist strongman, told him to not even think about giving us any trouble and left. But even if they’d been smart enough to do that they would have been pilloried in the press and by international opinion. They bare blame as well.
