Job

Yes, good products, good marketing (sometimes) ... TERRIBLE CULTURE.

This is a "pressure cooker" environment that upper management pushes you to the breaking point.

Merial is sitting on many diverters, letting several reps blow out their number, win trips, etc and then let the rest of us suffer with everything going on in the environment (competitive launches, diversion, OTC complaints, people not want to do large buy ins, etc.)

This place is the biggest joke I have seen. If you want anxiety, stress, and many vets who hate Merial--- come join us!

I wish you better luck than this!!!

BFV Successfully Defends Former Employees in Trade Secrets Lawsuit By Large Pharmaceutical Company

"BFV recently prevailed in a suit pitting one of the world's largest providers of pharmaceutical products and vaccines for the animal health industry against five of its former employees. The employees formerly worked as sales representatives and a veterinary technician for Merial Limited, a joint venture of Merck & Co., Inc. and sanofi-aventis.
They each sold or assisted in the sale of animal healthcare products such as heartworm and flea and tick medication to veterinary clinics. Each had resigned and become employed with Elanco, a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and a competitor with Merial in the animal health care products industry. In the suit filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Merial claimed the former employees possessed Merial's confidential information and trade secrets and would inevitably use its information and trade secrets in their competitive employment with Elanco. Merial asked the Court to enjoin the employees from working for Elanco on this basis. Following a hearing a week after the lawsuit was filed, the Court denied Merial's request for a temporary restraining order and refused to enter any injunctive relief against the employees. Merial dismissed the lawsuit shortly after the Court's ruling." www.bfvlaw.com
