I have been contacted by a recruiter in regards to an expansion in the neurology division. Any information you can share regarding the company and risk coming over with the buy out? I am not happy with my current job but have been at my company for over 10 years and do not want to risk coming over and then getting laid off.

TIA

Come get that severance money while you can. You may never get 8 months salary and benefits without working again in your life.

(unless you're a rep and 12 months/year without work is what you're accustomed to)

It’s for a drug launch.. and there is no neuroscience team....

damn this isn’t that difficult if you ask the recruiter a single question

Yeah I dont think they would be asking that question if recruiters cared more about the candidate concerns rather than their commissions and actually gave unambiguous clear direct precise answers

I got a random call from a hiring manager to set an interview, I'm also curious to know what the status/info from celgene reps.
Should we candidates take the risk if offered a job?

Exactly. I spoke with recruiter and she could not even give me a compensation range as she stated those have not been confirmed yet? It will be very competitive space with 11 other drugs approved for MS.

Complete BS. They always know the salary range before they even contact you. They know the salary range even before the job is announced.

I suspected the recruiter was not in truth when they said they had no info on salary range.
It is the truth though as offers are being severely delayed too and thats because they've yet to figure out exact numbers. If they can have 1 at 150k instead of two in nearby regions at 130 each - they'll offer 1 post. They are behind the scenes doing the math. Less Reps, more profit.
