Job offer with competing company possible

Interested in interviewing with a competitor. Does anyone know if we signed do not compete clause when hired? Been here a while and looking at moving to another company. Want to do it the right way but feel no more opportunities here for me. Any feedback on non-compete or intellectual property agreements that we signed? I don’t recall any but it’s been too long. Any feedback please?

I know of at least three teammates that left in close succession to a competitor. Not aware of anything but don’t really know. Gsk can be very sneaky and have that information not that clear. Maybe someone who understands HR issues can chime in.

Depends on the business unit. Respiratory and vaccines I don’t think so. OBU has had some sign non-competes but I think it varies state by state how well those can be enforced

I don’t think so. Maybe a manager would know. Don’t blame you for looking. If GSK doesn’t want to lose people then maybe they need to step up with merit increases that mean something for starters. This company used to be great. Now even if you are a consistent producer you can’t get ahead if you don’t kiss their behinds. It really is sophomoric. They never have promotion opportunities and the biggest thing that upsets me is the release of goals after the beginning of a quarter.

Get some ambition and stop relying upon merit increases for a raise

Look at our leadership. From CEO to DSM. They are unable to identify any level of talent. Again, look at our leadership. Look at our stock valuation. You realize that our CEO turned away billions to sell our consumer division. Now look at us. If you have an opportunity to leave, take it and don't look back. Best of luck.
