hi all.
For the past 20 years I have gotten a benefits package that included Car Allowance, as well as Phone and Internet.
Now the Phone and internet are not always 100% and sometimes the car has just been a stipend and I had to also expense for mileage.
Are you seeing a trend at your company where they are removing these benefits all together?
I know with the pandemic, more normally "office based" employees are now working from home. So perhaps that is adding some burden to the company and they are trying to avoid having to explain why sales reps. get a perk. (I have a few explanations)
Just curious if this is a new trend and I should just deduct it from my tax as unreimbursed business expenses.
